Panda Express Shift Lead Practice Test

The recommended action in the event that the CCTV system is not functioning properly is to check and repair it without delay. This is crucial because a properly functioning surveillance system is vital for maintaining security within the restaurant. Immediate attention to the issue helps to ensure that any potential security risks are addressed swiftly, which protects both employees and customers.

Delaying repairs or scheduling them for a later time, such as the weekend, increases the vulnerability of the establishment to theft, vandalism, and other security threats. Likewise, simply informing a manager after hours without taking any action leaves the system compromised until it can be addressed, which can result in missed opportunities to prevent or respond to incidents.

The option of replacing the entire system might be unnecessary and resource-intensive, especially if the issues can be resolved through repair. The focus should always be on prompt action to restore functionality, ensuring that safety measures are upheld in the restaurant.
